More Music Biz Collaboration Ideas

 Back in 2000, some Rick Springfield fans said they'd like to see a duet with Janet Jackson.

My proposal is for Janet and Rick to play "Can't Say" by Letters to Cleo.

Another one by LTC that Janet or Belinda or Shania could do is "Wasted." Wasted might be too melancholic for many.  

Check out Aurora Gory Alice (1995) by Letters to Cleo.

Another top notch cover for some band might be "Fully Alive" by Flyleaf. 

"Ready to smile and love life...fully alive."

There are several songs that would be ideal covers from three of Rick Spingfield's recent albums.

An Alternative to Micro-Outsourcing Sites Is Needed. Plus, a Truth Test

 I ordered two gigs.

I only got one requirement form.

I asked customer service about it.

Incoherent answer.

Will I pay double for one gig?

Will they ever admit they only sent one form?

This micro-outsourcing site has been crazy since inception.

And AI won't write your book. It can't admit I ordered two gigs.

Plus, Grok and ChatGPT censor.

Collapsitarians are communists, not Libertarians.

Business Ideas for the Space Industry

1) scientific research (especially nano replicators, artificial gravity and alternative energy).

2) launching hazardous waste towards into the sun.

3) manufacturing on the Moon or Mars.

To make what? Telescopes (huge ones). Or robots. Or robot miners. Or Voyagers 3-8.

4) And then of course space tourism, gambling, concerts, etc.

5) Consider prison labor.

6) Spacecraft racing.

7) Generation of electricity.

8) Could we hope for government free zones?

9) Space search and rescue.

10) Agriculture may have to be a thing on Mars.

Game Idea: Escape the Matrix

 How about an escape the matrix video game?

Plot: a high school kid from a failing school in the dystopia decides he's going to:

a) get a penthouse in a safe area.  Or,

b) escape to Dubai, Columbia, Thailand, Monaco or Singapore. Or,

c) own the ghetto.

The ending should have an ending similar to a book called Secrets of the Tomb, where new brothers and sisters are initiated.

The designer could combine Cashflow 101 & 102 like game functions with aspects of a RPG.

Civ could give us ideas too.

Tim Ferriss reminds us we should ask for the full menu (of choice). We might make Escape the Matrix have a fairly broad and realistic range of choices.

Another Mutual Fund Idea

 My idea for a new mutual fund is as follows:

50% Tech stocks

15% REITS

15% T-Bonds

20% Preferred stocks (consumer necessities and industrial)

My target customers would be people with a modicum of FI. Maybe $350,000+

If I ran the fund, I'd be hands off as much as much as possible. I'd try to keep expenses down and have a long-term focus.

You'd need two classes of shares. One where income is reinvested. One where income is paid out monthly.

Atlas Shrugged - A Black Choice

 How about a book and then a movie of an Atlas Shrugged type business drama?

But the main characters are black?

If you don't have time to read the whole thing right away, (it's 1100+ pages) read the chapter called The Egoist.

In The Egoist, the main character, John Galt, meets with the President. The movie didn't come close to doing the chapter justice.

Sunglasses as a Business

 HUGE profit margins are possible with sunglasses.

You can sell other accessories.

You can outsource production or buy a machine to make frames and a machine to make lenses.

Hypnotist Business Idea

 If you're creative, articulate and you can quickly create rapport, you could become a hypnotist.

You could help clients overcome fears. You can reduce nervous ticks. You can prepare clients for formal ceremony or big life events.

You could accept clients written off and referred to public housing by other councilors.

Business Idea: Situational Awareness & Job Training Video Games

 When I was in college, I created a stir about situational awareness training for an organization that had seen better days.

Experience is an excellent educational tool. But it tends to be real expensive. Newcomers to any field can and do make expensive mistakes.

It is possible to offer situational awareness video games for many fields.

Look at Cashflow 101 for a close example.  When I was a kid we played loss prevention videos.

"You can't do that!" chubby psychology preaching, Dad financially backed do gooder will shreik.

Yes you can. Don't be a lazy bonehead. Don't serve the opposition for free.

The majority of my state's Republican Party is sworn to be silent about The Leadership Institute in VA.

Just because DEI hire or bubblehead screams no you can't do that...show me the actual law.

Think of the business potential of sales training video games.

I hear the Army already uses them.

As they say, "simulation is safer."

Business Idea: The Unbiased Job Search Web Site

 Ziprecruiter is a big improvement over other job sites.

But, what I am thinking of is a service that'll show you other entry level jobs outside of the user's bulk of experience.

At Glassdoor, I was ONLY shown different cities that my employer operated in. Most were sh*tholes.

How about an unbiased job search site that can acknowledge degrees, skills training and volunteer experience.

I wonder how many unhoused people are blacklisted by employers on SJW employment and other web sites?

(Only the Libertarians will acknowledge. But there are fed posters and One Worlders embedded in the LP.)

Ziprecruiter, at least displays possible lateral moves.
